Ahoy, Philly! In just a few weeks, visitors to Philadelphia will be able to witness massive seaworthy vessels on the Delaware when the Tall Ships Challenge Philadelphia Camden 2015 lands on both shores of the Delaware River June 25-28.
Tall Ships Challenge is an annual event, which drifts in a three year cycle between the waters of the Great Lakes, the Pacific and the Atlantic coasts of North America. This June, the festival will pull into port in Philadelphia for four days of sailing, sights and more.
Hundreds of thousands of visitors are expected to navigate their way to the Delaware to catch a glimpse, step aboard and even set sail on one of the dozen-ship fleet’s massive ships, which will all dock at Penn's Landing and the Camden Waterfront.
But not only ships will float on the Delaware.

Get ready: The largest rubber ducky in the world, a 61-foot-tall giant yellow rubber duck, will join the Tall Ships Challenge on the Delaware River!
A playful sight that aims to inspire viewers to conserve natural resources and waterways for future ducks, the enormous rubber ducky is the latest version of the now-iconic floating sculpture originally created by Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman.
The World’s Largest Rubber Duck, a huge 11-ton yellow vinyl duck, will join the dozen-ship fleet and the rest of the visually impressive attractions showcased during the Parade of Sail and throughout the four-day festival on the two-sided waterfront.
