Ready to welcome summer? We sure are.
The Visit Philly Beer Garden Series officially launches today, Friday, May 22 at Spruce Street Harbor Park, and you're invited.
Running every Friday all summer long (except July 3), the new weekly happy-hour series is taking up residency at some of the biggest spaces of Philly's beer garden scene, those seasonal spots that energize public spaces.
This Friday marks opening day of Spruce Street Harbor Park and RiverRink Summerfest, the brand-new first-for-Philadelphia outdoor roller skating rink, and the Visit Philly Beer Garden Series will be there to help kick it all off with a pop-up happy hour.
Visit Philly Beer Garden Series Happy Hour
Although not technically a beer garden, Spruce Street Harbor Park's floating restaurant, adjoining waterfront park (with its three built-in bars) and hammock garden are a perfect match for the Visit Philly Beer Garden Series.
From 5 to 8 p.m. at Spruce Street Harbor Park, score specials on local craft brews from Yards Brewing Company, the local crew that also brewed the Spruce Street Harbor Park exclusive, Lazy Hammock.
